Learning through play!
Our program is based on structured play combined with emergent curriculum guidelines. Emergent curriculum focuses on being responsive to each child’s interest and creating meaningful experiences based on these interests.
What makes learning bridge special? Our curriculum is child initiated allowing for collaborations between child and teacher. Learning can take place easier when a child is engaged in their environment. We believe the best way to do this is to create material that engages a child’s interest.
An emergent curriculum helps promote critical thinking and welcome curiosity and acceptance of multiple perspectives. It also keeps teachers engaged and focuses on skill sets they are trying to target.
“If a child can’t learn the way we teach maybe we should teach
they way they learn”
